Philosophy/General Purpose
We have been working with area families for over 55 years, providing an authentic Montessori experience for infants. toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and elementary students that supports the child’s natural development and promotes a positive self-image of being a loveable, worthy, and capable person. Some characteristics of all programs include: specially prepared environments with a rich array of materials and activities from which the children can choose, explore and make discoveries about the world, themselves, and others; multi-age groupings that encourage natural socialization, peer to peer learning and leadership opportunities; Montessori certified teachers who nurture and guide the children; beautiful, natural outdoor environments that not only include playgrounds and sports fields, but also gardens, ponds, prairie grasslands, and woodlands for learning experiences and enjoyment.
Students
- Student/Teacher Ratio: It depends on the age. No more than: 4:1 with infants; 5:1 with toddlers; 8:1 with 2's; 10:1 pre-k
- Student Age Range: Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, Kindergarteners, Elementary (1st-6th grade)
- Toilet Training Policy:
- We work together with families of toddlers and 2's with this process. Independence in toileting is expected in the 3-6 classes.

- Class Size: It depends on the age. Infant/Toddler-8; 2-3's- 12-16; 3-6's-22
