Libby by OverDrive
Check out e-books, including lots of e-books for kids and teens, with Libby by OverDrive, many not listed in the library catalog. Additional titles are made possible through membership in Digital Library of Illinois. Compatible with most devices, including Kindle e-readers such as PaperWhite.
Transitioning to Digital Library of Illinois
On Monday July 1st, the library joined the Digital Library of Illinois consortium. You will be prompted to re-enter your Vernon Area library card number in the Libby app (you do not need to enter a pin; if you are asked for a pin you have selected a different library in Libby). When you first check out in Digital Library of Illinois, you will have to manually set your checkout limit to 21 days instead of the default 14 days given.
