The Oculus Quest is an all-in-one gaming system built for virtual reality. Play standing or sitting as you are transported into virtual worlds.
Oculus headsets are available for VAPLD cardholders ages 13 and up to check-out. They check-out for three weeks and are not renewable. They can be placed on hold. The Oculus headsets are checked out and returned to the Circulation Desk. The Oculus kit includes a headset with an eyeglass spacer and two controllers. A number of games are pre-loaded onto the device. A number of virtual worlds and experiences are also accessible from the device.

The Oculus Quest is recommended for ages 13 and older
Be aware of your surroundings. An empty space of 6.5 feet by 6.5 feet is recommended for many games. Make sure this space is free of tripping hazards. Use the instructions from the Oculus headset to set up a Guardian that allows you to safely move your arms and legs without hitting any thing.
Use the wrist straps attached to the controllers.

A charger is included for recharging the headset.
